The Abbey of Villers and Numeric’Arts present once more the exhibition Digital Contemplation, linking digital art and heritage. The works of 4 artists will occupy the abbey, including my new interactive video and sound installation ORGANUM, with the collaboration of the singer Marie Michel. The piece is activated and modulated by the visitors movement, creating a polyphonic improvised and ephemeral music inspired by the organum, a type of music developed during the Middle Ages that refers to a polyphonic (many-voiced) setting, in certain specific styles, of Gregorian chant.
